Human
Sturthan humans are in many ways the humans of many other D&D worlds: they live relatively short lives but seem more than most to harbor a desire for legacy. However, there are a few key differences that make Sturthan humans unique:
- Though the histories of other races mention humans as existing before the Exodus, human history of such a time has long since been lost, leaving the origins of humanity totally unknown. As such, humans are one of very few races that cannot trace their lineage to one of the four elemental forces.
- Without a clear origin, humans have a fascination with the past more than most, and returning to Nestfaolo has finally provided humanity the opportunity to uncover the secrets of their lost past.
- After long years at sea, humans, like many races, have lost a great deal of magical knowledge, leading natural-born arcanists such as sorcerers to be a rarity.
Motivations
Humans are defined by their pursuit of knowledge and desire to leave behind a legacy. Nearly all humans strive to make discoveries that shine light on their lost past, as well as rediscover the magics long since lost to the peoples of Sturth.Playing a Human
Humans are functionally identical to those found in D&D Beyond. Feel free to use the variant human option to choose a starting feat instead of an ability score increase. Either is acceptable.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
