Captain's Council

The de-facto leadership of Respite, this council is made up of all the captains from the Exodus fleet. As more captains arrive, the council grows larger, and now it stands at 13 members. Each has equal say, and their votes operate on a simple majority to pass any measures. Those in the council are generally upstanding, but outside influences have begun to worm their way into the decision making process.

Members

• Captain Reginald Von Bartlesbee (DECEASED) - He was the first captain to land ashore. Known for being very ostentatious and willing to land because he never really liked the sea. His distinct mustache and goatee combo partnered well with a brass monocle, and he always has his trusty canine companion at his side. Dwarf male
• Captain Penelope Von Bartlesbee - The daughter of Reginald, often simply called "Penelope" by the people of Respite. She was never a captain of the sea and therefore did not earn the undying respect of her people as her father did. Dwarf female
• Captain Voran Battlehome - The most recent captain to arrive in Respite, Voran and his people were driven off the sea by a catastrophic engine failure. Now forced aground, Battlehome has taken to enforcing seaborn traditions on Respite, as he values the security of the sea above all else. Dwarf male
• Captain Elmoor Blackstache - Though very gruff and seaworthy, this swarthy man is more refined than a pirate. He loves the pirate aesthetic and playing that up to others, yet has a soft spot for children. He used to captain the world galleon from which Vash Kaldroon hails. Human male
