Captain of the Guard

Both loved and reviled, the leader of the town guards of Respite is a self-assured human man, whose brilliant mustache and navy blue sash contrast well with the ridiculous feathered cap he always wears.
Fond of finding unusual punishments to deter crime, the captain, often referred to simply as "Cap," will frequently send unsuspecting prisoners on dangerous expeditions in return for reduced or eliminated sentences.
