General Summary
Another year, another new crowd. Strixhaven welcomes its new first year students on Orientation Day. New students arrive via the teleportation circle outside the Biblioplex, greeted by a golden automaton serving as a guide. After being led inside, the students are given 20 minutes to peruse the 1st floor of the building. Introductions are made, and conversations are struck up. Students are then taken to the Hall of Oracles to receive the Orientation Speech from Mavinda Sharpbeak. Mavinda gives a speech, and gives the Oracles time to also impart their wisdom. Upon finishing the speech, Mavinda takes the players back to the entrance hall of the Biblioplex and gives them a Scavenger Hunt to finish out the day exploring Strixhaven's Central Campus.
The party + Podkan go to each of the 5 locations after deciphering the clues and asking for help from the Information Desk.
- 1st Solved Clue: Asking for the "right nook" at the Biblioplex Information Desk from a Clockwork Archivist
- 2nd Solved Clue: Asking a Firejolt employee for anything using the code word "prize"
- 3rd Solved Clue: Climbing one of the towers in Strixhaven Stadium and stretching out your arms
- 4th Solved Clue: Performing an act honoring Professor Kollema in front of their statue in Archway Commons
- 5th Solved Clue: Discovering the correct way to open doors at Dapplewing Manor
After finishing the Scavenger Hunt, the party + Podkan go to the 1st Year Student Dorms to be assigned their rooms. They find their floor RA to be....accommodating. Kel just wants errryone to chilllll. Everyone chooses their dorm room and what color they want it to be. They rest the night, preparing for their first day of classes...
