Session 5: Drink, Drank, Drunk

General Summary

We are continuing on in the five bar pub crawl, despite having almost no spell slots. We have made our way to a bar called the Frothing Flask. This bar has a huge river running through it. We had to figure out how to cross all the bridges and get to each area without setting foot on the same bridge twice. We used the runes on the bartending owls and my flying to get it done.

We made it to the second bar. Here we had to outperform the Owlin bar manager. Night That Eats Stars has got this. She started singing, Cathia back up danced, I acted as hype man, Skoldreg made some magical light and atmospheric effects, and Cillian played his oboe. We kicked ass and everyone at the bar loved us. So we got our special drink, which made us all super wasted. Just as we were celebrating our badassery, the bar got raided. We managed to escape out a secret door in the back. We stole some food from the storage room, and I took an eggplant.... for science.

Next we went to a super seedy looking bar in the The Sedgemoor . It smelled weird there. We smelled something weird around the back. We were talking about investigating and I decided to write a new story called "Snooping Around the Backside" about a sexy inspector doing sexy things around the backside. Here, the challenge was to make the signature drink using only the clues given to us by a random drunk in the patio. Skoldreg and Cillian were able to figure it out pretty easily and walked us through mixing the drink. Most of us thought it was awful and got pretty shitfaced on it. Skoldreg was into it. We ordered some food next to try to sober up. They only serve deep fried mystery meat. It turns out it was grist. Everyone seemed pretty grossed out by it, but it's better than what we ate in the Shadowfell. 

The next pub was super fancy and there was a fairy that sang some weird poem about making a vessel. Cillian was kind of hitting on the fairy, but she stole his name. We went on in to try to make the vessel so we could finish the pub crawl. Cillian made a deal with the fairy to get his name back if we could complete the challenge.

We went on in. There was a ton of art in there. We figured out that the vessel we needed to depict was ourselves since we drank the drinks. I did a needlepoint of myself, made sexy. It wasn't the best. Skoldreg did a pretty decent sculpture of himself. Cathia did some finger painting and it was super impressive. Night did a really cool sculpture of herself playing with a ball and the stone statue head we found in the art room. The Satyr formerly known as Cillian did a great watercolor of himself. We weren't sure what to title it. Cillian the fairy came to tell us we passed and Former Cillian asked for his name back. The fairy honored the deal.

We made it to the pub and following the clue we got from the fairy, we made our endless flask spew a mixture of all the drinks together and drank until the pub stopped moving. We went in, and were told we needed to drink the pub under the table. Most of us just got under the table and took a sip of our drinks - we all got banished! Me and Cillian got banished back to the Shadowfell and the Feywild, respectively. Cathia and Skoldreg ended up in the detention bog. Night poured one out for the pub and then took a drink, and she did not get banished. The pub's bartender told her that she had completed the challenge. After a minute, the rest of us Randos popped back into the pub. They offered the pub a drink and completed the challenge too. Then the bartender told us all that we now owned the pub!

The pub was definitely bigger on the inside. There was a library within it; a museum with weird unfamiliar creatures and deities and a bf tank; an outdoor courtyard / garden; and a game room. In the game room we saw figures of ourselves on a game board. That's kind of weird as hell, isn't it? Oh well.
