Settler’s Point
During its height of the city's greatness it was filled with construction sites. The city expansion grew outward consuming the great flatland that it was founded on. Many of the old buildings made from wood are now being torn down and replaced with new stone or brick buildings. The Scimitar Stadium is seen from miles around towering over the surrounding land, standing as a great monument and symbol that anyone could be the next champion. Toward the center of the city lay many of Settler’s Point’s new government buildings built from sleek and shiny granite. City hall being placed in the center of the city surrounded by four large pillars each depicting the four great champions from Settler’s point. Construction on City Hall just began to showcase the new upcoming Champion of Settler’s point. Many of the streets are filled with people carrying supplies to the worksites surrounding the city. While most of the city is expanding the city still relies on its agriculture as its main export. Many families still live on farm land out in the golden hills that encase the city.
Built on the flat plains of the land the city expanded outward understanding if they could expand to the shore they would be able to build a port. With the development of the port the city understood the kingdom would be spread thin trying to control imports. Many use the port as a black market to trade goods that the city might have an issue if brought in. Most citizens understand any crime in the city will be punished harshly, so it is important to pay off those who will rat you out. Corruption runs rampant throughout Settlers' Points but only for those who know who to pay. The rules of Settler’s Point have been trying to squash the idea their city can be corrupted and are trying their best to purge their city of it. During the age of Sylva's wrath, the rulers would hire mercenaries and buy weapons to protect the city and fight their battles. It is even rumored that an Aarakocra named Qular had been one of the first beings to make it to Andor’s forge and fight for the people of Settler’s point. It was also one of the first kingdoms to attack during Sylvas' wrath, setting off a chain reaction. As the first to attack they city had devoted many shrines to Andor in hopes they would provide them with a soldier and the weapons to win what they thought would be the first in a long series of wars that they would not be on the losing side of. Upon realizing that there would be no war the rulers of Settler’s point would stockpile weapons and their wealth knowing that eventually there would be a use for them eventually.
