P36 Magnum

The P36 is a very unique pistol. While most box fed pistols use 9mm or smaller ammunition, the P36 uses magnum revolver rounds instead. It also uses blowforward operation rather than blowback like most gas operated weapons. When firing, the barrel itself lunges out of the shell and lunges back in. This barrel motion allows for the used shell to eject out of the left port and for a new bullet to be chambered in. The pistol also features a ‘lever’ like those found on lever action rifles. This lever manually pushes the barrel forward. Unlike lever action rifles, the lever doesn’t need to be cocked with every shot, only when the chamber is empty and a new round needs to be chambered. The magazine can hold 7 9x35mm magnum rounds in the standard magazine however larger stick magazines can be made and used
