Tok-Nikrat
A tiny village of Bog Striders in the southern tributaries of the Hooktongue Slough. While Bog Striders are typically solitary and nomadic, after years of attacks from Boggards and other people, Tok-Tekt was able to bring together about a dozen of them together for mutual protection. He now serves as their leader.
The village is on a heavily-wooded island about 200 feet in diameter surrounded by water about 50 feet deep. Swamp vegetation recedes for about 100 feet in all directions from the island. It has limited structures consisting of 3 huts and a few nests. They do not have much spare food, possibly owing Boggards and dangerous creatures in surrounding areas limiting their abilities to hunt.
Recently, an M'botuu raiding party captured Tok-Tekt's son, Ka-Kekt. He was considered lost after a failed rescue attempt, but he was ultimately recovered by The Constellation. They shared their knowledge of local dangers in exchange. The Constellation offered to help clear out some of those dangerous in exchange for a future trade of goods for intel, and have started to do just that.
Tok-Nikrat keeps in touch with other families of Bog Striders.
