Owlbear

Exactly what it says on the tin. Animals that are part bear, part owl in appearance. They often live in caves and tend to stay close to them. They can be dangerous when protecting their young or hunting.
Owlbears are able to grab enemies and frighten them with their roars, as well as disembowel them with their beaks. Their thick pelts make them very hard to hurt with weapons, but their size gives them poor reflexes.
