Hooktongue

A large lake at the center of Hooktongue Slough. It is named after a rumored ancient Water Orm who is said to reside in its depths (up to 900 feet in some places).

The creature

Hooktongue (the Water Orm) is supposedly an immense horned serpent with jaws strong enough to crush a bear. However, they haven't been seen in a long time, so it's unknown if they're still alive.

Ragnar Garess had some sort of vision which he thinks was the Hooktongue, and now suggests that they travel where the water is shallower.
