Black Rattlecap

A black mushroom with a hollow cap filled with tiny hard balls. When shaken or moved, it rattles, hence its name. They are 8-12 inches tall.
Black rattlecaps have poisonous stems, but the balls are apparently edible, and can be soaked and used in tea.
