The Tempest Korren Zanthzavar

Korren is the son of Korreth and rightful cardinal of the Tempest faith. Korren has a disability of a triton, being unable to breathe water or air, but both simultaneously. He is required to wear a specialty mask that provides an equilibrium of water an air.

When he was discarded as a child, Korren was chosen by the Tempest itself to be its eyes and ears in the mortal flesh. Since then, the Tempest has sacrificed many men and sea-folk indiscriminately for the Tempest. This marked him as a wanted killer.

During the battle for the Seven Springs, Korren worked alongside General Zurd to get close to his father in order to kill him and take his rightful place as cardinal. He had kidnapped and killed Marco Giubertti before was captured by the Saviors.

Korren was later convinced to aid the heroes in the final battle. He and Shuri Fujimura killed his father and defeated the Great Leviathan.

Today, the Tempest resides in the Eternal Sea, ever watchful of surface dwellers and seafolk who travels through.
