Talenta Rangers
The Talenta Rangers are the remnants of the once powerful Quintessa Rangers, a mighty Halfling military force known for their bonds with dinosaurs and highly advanced laser powered technology.
The majority of their forces were wiped out in the initial attack of the goblins during the attack on Quintessa. The remaining forcers were forced to retreat into the Talenta region where they continue to make their stand against the invading forces as a band of freedom fighters.
With the chain of command gone, and no time to defend, the once powerful military quickly became no more. However, there are those who managed to escape the genocide, and there are those who still fight for their homeland.
The Talenta Plains Carrying the spirits of their fallen brethren, these Haflings returned to their roots to fight; The Talenta Plains. This region was once the tourist site called Triassic Park, but after the fall it became a dangerous land where dinosaurs reign free and unbounded.
The rangers are a band of halflings that have a unique bond with dinosaurs that grants them unique boons in combat unseen before. It’s one thing to fight a halfling that fires laser arrows, and another while riding a dinosaur with laser cannons.
Unique Bonds The Talenta Rangers have close bonds with their dinosaurs. Once domesticated the rider and dinosaur are linked on a spiritual and emotion level that most can't comprehend. As all Quintessan's, they have high respect for culture.
They do not rely automations, modern firearms or motorized vehicles. The bond between dinosaur and rider is sacred. The rider prefers using slingshots, bows and elemental arrows. While their mounts have arcane cannons or laser rifles equipped.
The Talenta Rangers aim to save and free as many slaves as possible from the Goblins and take back Quintessa form the Goblin army. They will stop at nothing to see this done.
