Stellarium

The World Within Worlds

Stellarium is the constellation of a world within worlds. Every plane of existence affects Stellarium in every way. While all other planes revolve around Stellarium, it is the epicenter of the universe and the only plane that stays the same within the Ethereal and Astral plane.   Because of this, there are times where the other planes are remote or converge with Stellarium. When this happens, supernatural phenomena occur where universal laws of planes blend and merge. The Plains of Risia would freeze over certain regions that are similar to its intense cold, while the high temperatures of Fernia could cause forges to explode in high temperatures.   Stellarium not only hosts effects of other worlds but have worlds within itself. These demiplanes known as Layers. One layer of Stellarium is the Underdark known as Khyber. Where creatures are sensitive to the sunlight.   There are layers that lead to a city within the sky, or a layer of shadows that reflect despair. This unique property reflects across the other planes as their properties reflect Stellarium.   The Ring of Stellarium is a gargantuan band golden dragonshards that dominates the sky. Found in the very atmosphere, the Collegium and Arcane Council believes this band of light that radiates and manipulates the arcane magic may be the remnants of the Progenitor Stellaris.   It is recorded in ancient text that there were thirteen moons that orbited Stellarium, yet after the destruction of the giants, all but one has disappeared.   Peculiarly enough, after the Age of Giants and disappearance of the moons did magic began to decline and less people capable of using it, let alone understand it.   It is theorized that there is a connection between the planes of existence and the moons of Stellarium. It’s possible if an airship was capable of flying high enough to reach the moon—it would mayhap instead pass through it into its associated plane.   To date, no human has ever traveled to the moon.
