This great house rules democratically from their capital of Savae in the Xea system. Citizens over 20 can be summoned by random lot to fill various yearly terms within their Ecclesia, this quickly lead to slavery being outlawed within their region of space and their culture holding Humanism as a much higher value than the other Great Houses. This has lead to a scientific golden age of sorts for them and as a result their technology currently leads all of the other Great Houses, so while they do not have the military clout of the others they are highly valued clients of the Hegemon though the relationship has always been somewhat strained due to all of the other Houses exploiting institutionalized slavery in some form.

Ecclesia - all of the below in assembly to vote on various decrees Archons - The 9 highest elected officials, they have 10 year terms and preside over the government's affairs between Ecclesia assemblies Proedroi - Prepare the laws, proposals and administers the Ecclesiai Boule - Receive ambassadors and deal with external affairs, guard access to governmental documents Generals - Preside over the Military Taxiarchs - Internal Military Auditors Areopagus - Retired Archons that still hold voting power Heliaia - Citizens (30 or older) drawn by lot to participate for a one year term in the eclessia

Technological Level

They have mastered the activation and use of the Progenitor Jump Rings and are feverishly working to develop a manufactured prototype, the World Ships are a side benefit of this research and the knowledge of them was freely disseminated to all the Houses at the decree of the former Baselius

Education

The best universities are all contained within their space, students travel from all across the clusters to attend so this makes the campuses very cosmopolitan and diverse. The downside is that it's not uncommon for a debate to quickly turn into a armed conflict.

The Ecclesia as a whole votes on all laws and treaties, it is administered by the Boule as a whole who are also voting members contained within the Ecclesia

Judicial Body

The Heliaia presides over the civil and criminal courts, Juries are drawn by lot from their members, it's always an odd sized jury sized according to the magnitude of the matter, for larger Juries there will be a member of the Boule elected to keep order but beyond administrating and arbitrating disputes within the Jury they have little power over the actual outcome of the trial.
