Unique Conditions and EVA Suits

Stellar Concerns as four unique conditions to be concerned with outside the traditional field combat manual (5e) below I will explain them in light detail. Along with the chief means of protection from two of them, the EVA Suit.
  1. Radiation - Radiation is a dangerous release of usually neutrons or protons typical of fusion reactions. Space is constantly full of radiation and your food and water already has low levels of iodine in it to help contend with that background radiation. Mechanically when in a field of high radiation you will slowly per round take 1d4 radiation damage to your health. Similarly spending more than ten minutes in a high radiation field fully exposed to radiation may result in long term debuffs and an increase chance of shorter life expectancy. One can protect themselves from Radiation with certain buffs such as iodine tablets or infusions of iodine in the blood stream or medical treatment after exposure. Also via wearing a EVA suit.
  2. Vacuum - ever so slightly different exposure to vacuum follows the base rules for suffocation however additionally it grants disadvantage to all concentration checks, due to pressure, and silences you as no sound moves in a vacuum. Warning that Vacuums tend to be areas of high radiation. EVA suits ignore these ill effects.
  3. Zero-G - in Zero-G environments or ones that simulate zero-G Newtons second law dominates. Your movement is reduced to 0 unless you are holding onto something and moving along those hand held in which case it is considered difficult terrain. You can also move by moving something else in the opposite intended direction, however this movement will become permanent and automatic until stopped. EVA usually, but not always, are equipped with movement jets and or magnetic boots
  4. Infection - Infection is a condition that is caused by damage when fighting the Xenophage. Your shielding and armor offers protection, but once at half health each time you take damage from contact with the Xenophage you must roll a constitution saving throw. On a roll less than 10 or 1 you are infected. While infected you take 1d4 infection damage per round on your turn or per minute. Medical treatment can relieve infection, if granted within an hour of infection. Beyond that and you may gain Permeant infection debuff, requiring you to take medication for the rest of your life. If killed while infected and not on medication, your body will reanimate into that of a Xenophage.
  5. EVA Suits - EVA suits are a class of clothing over your armor that allows for for mitigation of these subsystems. However at half health EVA suits often tear and have reduce effectiveness if a save is failed. Some EVA suits may also infect penalties or boosts as not all EVA suits are equivalent.
