Father Culling
Father Culling is a top of the line Dreadnaught, measuring a whopping five kilometers of length and carries 2000 crewmen for itself, with another 1000 for its support ships and a sizable crew of automated maintenance and cleaning drones. It contains four smaller drydocks for upgrading, retrofitting and repairing its support ships as well as a small but highly active market sector. Originally envisioned as the first in a new line of warships from Titan IV, the staggering cost of construction and the difficulties of making Drift drives that could actually transport the monster of a ship made it economically unfeasible. Instead, it became the flagship of Admiral Sa’reed Masar, the man who had first commissioned the ship and whose family had paid for almost half of it.
For a good 25 years, Father Culling was been stationed on a patrolling and protection mission in the Lucinda System, on the border of Black Scourge Quarantine Space. The ship has specifically been designed to combat the Black Scourge, with extreme-range weapons, non-automated systems and a purposeful lack of tracking weaponry.
After the recent Drift Beacon restrictions, Father Culling has been retasked, moving it out of the Lucinda System.
