Cultural event
As territories expand to distant lands and the population of the Revic exploded, fractures in the hive began to develop.
With the majority of Northern Reevnic reached and settled, the queens turned their attention at the evolution of their race and culture. It quickly became clear there was not a shared vision in this however. With ideas being as diverse as technological advancement to engineered biological evolution. And while the queens bickered between themselves, the hive began to work against itself in an effort to accomplish all of their goals at once. After nearly a year of debate and stagnation of progress, the First Queen Kavalic made a decision. The hive would split into 6, each governed by their respective queens. Progressing to whatever goal they saw would most benefit their individual hive as a whole. After some initial trepidation the queens agreed to the terms and set about restructuring their clusters into fully functioning hives. Kavalic began major efforts into the mining of metals within her territory of the Kalm Jungles. Investing heavily on more efficient infrastructure and advancing technologically. Tovanic made efforts to settle "training hives" in the most inhabitable places within the Stofbak region. Forcing her people to adapt harshest of conditions in order to promote physically stronger individuals. Govaric saturated the strip of land south of the Cradling Range with numerous hives centered around gargantuan subterranean bio furnaces. Capitalizing on a mutation that allowed her subjects to inhale the noxious smoke and secrete usable sludge. Midovic focused her hive around self-improvement and discipline. Taming the Lesser River Region and instituted many training clusters in hopes of perusing the use of a new found inner "magic" they called Ki. Dalovic took her hive above ground, building impossible large nests that towered over the marshy Greater River Region. Promoting an athletic lifestyle, greatly favoring those who were born with wings. Locvic, being the youngest and least prepared for the split, took her hive deeper into the Leaflands, and tunneled deep into the soil. Sequestering themselves away and keeping their development hidden from the rest of the world.
