Daeme Character in Stelair | World Anvil

Daeme

Hammer of Justice, Sword of Order, Shield of the Righteous, Guardian of Honor, Moral North

A strict and virtuous being. Daeme desires order in the chaos that is brought into the world by mortals. While it would certainly be easy to institute her will, she desires much more for them to function on their own. This hasn't stopped her from giving detailed instructions on how to do things right in the form of her scriptures. Not getting angry when they don't follow them, only disappointed. When she does decided to get involved it usually is because of some immensely immoral act. Her judgment is quick, fierce, and comes down with little mercy.

Followers & Avatars

Knights of Holy Justice

An order of knights from the kingdom of Leaflan. This order dedicates itself to enforcing the law in rural communities which do not have constant law enforcement. A tremendous amount of their actual work is done in community service and free adventuring work. The order has spread to some northern parts of the Kelsh EmpireĀ and eastern parts of the River Kingdoms, however it has stayed centralized in Leaflan. Since the beginning of the Leaf Wars however, the order has taken up arms and with the original king in order to restore peace. Taking up rolls as commanding officers of Leaflan's armies, with the kings blessing of course.

Order of the Hammer

The order is officially sponsored by the Kelsh Empire to function as investigators, judges, juries, and executioners of high profile crimes. They are zealots to a T, following every word of Daeme's holy books to the letter. The are brutally efficient and deadly serious. Though a force to be feared, they don't do their jobs in wide sweeping strokes and don't hand out rulings haphazardly. They are careful about their judgments because they truly want to deal out justice and that if the ruling is determined to be wrong by a follow up investigation, they will receive the penalty of burning to death.

Law Riders

In Molor there is a group of people who have taken up the roll of law keepers in the region. Riding from town to town and answering calls of help. These self proclaimed lawmen have been known to be somewhat tough on crime. Keeping things strict and brutalizing criminals. There are only 100 or so of them and they do their best to keep the peace in an already brutal environment.

An old dwarf with a cane topped with a small hammer, wearing black robes lined with white cloth, and eyes glowing white. It is said that this dwarf was anointed at the dawn of time for a singular purpose. To go and cast judgment on the maker of chaos, the creator of the worlds horrors and sadness. Though he is always willing to stop and give wisdom.

Oscal of Stonebrood

A creature made of stone standing 12 feet tall. Humanoid in shape with eyes glowing white. Oscal is a guardian set to protect the @Great Grave Pit on the @Sand Sea and to prevent anyone from entering. He can for miles as clearly as he was standing there. He also has the ability the summon and control divine white chains at will.

A large silvery salamander like creature. Along its 20 foot body it has 8 short legs. Its head is oval and flat with a wide and toothless mouth. Its eyes blazing white.
