The nest time you hit a creature with a weapon attack before this spell ends, you can add energy stolen from black holes. Your attack deals an extra 2d6 bludgeoning damage to the target, which must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, its speed is reduced to 10 feet until the spell ends. On a success, its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the spell ends, to a minimum of 10 feet.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
