Velgrad

Most Morzavians know Velgrad as the spiritual heart of the Church in Morzavia, with the lake being revered for its connection to Solara Glass. The Ashborn Citadel, rising like a rusted crown from the lake itself, serves as Morzavia's largest military base in the region and offers a strong deterrent to any Freeholds looking to raid the lake.

Velgrad is the only place in the Imperium where Solara Glass is made— created from a strange, iridescent material harvested from the lakebed that is prized for both its beauty and its ability to hold enchantments. Nobles and church lords across the Empire commission stained-glass icons from Velgrad’s glasswrights, believing the windows act as conduits to the divine.

Velgrad, often called the Drowned City, sits low on the misty gray shores of Solara Lake; its spires and domes half-lost to the fog that never fully lifts.
