Personal history
I was born in the town of Fullmaga to noble parents, but when I turned 18 because my nobility was minor, I was conscripted into the local military to fight an invading force. I was elevated to the rank of officer because of my skill and status and was put on the front lines to lead a battalion. We were being smothered by the enemy, their arrows clouding out the sun, my men falling around me. It was hopeless. I prayed. There was nothing left to do. The projectiles got closer and closer when suddenly, time slowed to a near stop but I kept going. From the shadows of the hundreds of dead around me coalesced a single form, who revealed themselves as the Valkyrie queen, Freyja. She offered to help me, as long as I swore myself into her service for my life. I knew if I said no that I wouldn't have a life, and one doesn't simply get the chance to serve a valkyrie. I said yes, and as soon as I did a burst of energy radiated from the point between us, evaporating the arrows and stunning the enemy. Freyja disappeared, but as she did an Asgardian warhorn sounded, calling me and my soldiers to charge, allowing us to overtake the force ahead. Funnily enough, there was another warlock at the head of the opposing army. He had a scar over his eye, and I later found out that he served a valkyrie himself, though not the queen. I think he was jealous. I'm also pretty sure he's still hunting me down.
