Ulai̯fai̯vi are omnivorous in the wild. They eat primarily fruit and small animals like lizards and small birds. Their top speed is 50 to 60 mph, even in the dense woods. Thus, even with the Ulai̯fai̯vi bird's size, they can catch up to prey easily.
