Physical Description

General Physical Condition

While not all that physically imposing, Xuanwu has a perpetual scowl etched into her features which tends to give make people think twice about approaching her.

Special abilities

Name of Power: Ice Razor Description: She puts her fingers to her lips and blows a kiss. Her breath crystallizes and shatters.
Name of Power: Dark Water Surge Description: A massive wave of black water slams into the opponent. Normally, this is a simple offensive attack, but when combined with some sword work, it can literally rip a target to shreds.

Apparel & Accessories

Xuanwu's armor isn't as elbaorate as that worn by some of her fellow Ssu-Ling, but she likes it that way.
Beneath her green top she has another one of a lighter green that covers her bust. She and Baihu are the only two members of the Ssu-Ling to wear earrings. She wears a black collar with a light green strip along the bottom. This collar has a round copper pendant in the front.  All three female Ssu-Ling wear metal wrist bands. Hers are made of copper. The armor worn by the female Ssu-Ling is largely similar in that they all wear gloves, they all have a short skirt of some sort, short pants, and tall boots with elaborate metallic embellishments on the front. Xuanwu's boots are unique in that she has a black section over the top of her feet.

Personal history

When the seal around their prison was broken, Xuanwu was the second one out, flowing on Baihu’s tail. She wasn’t as angry that she no longer had a physical form, but she was more than happy to take on a host body. Her chosen host was taken out of desperation rather than careful choice, but once inside, she realized that she couldn’t have found a better match if she’d looked for one.
Known as the Black Warrior, she is powerful and strong and capable of powerful punishments and redemptive deliverance. She has a foul temper and is highly anti social.

Xuanwu is the one who created the Ching Tu River that flows through Elysium Valley.

Personality Characteristics

Vices & Personality flaws

She's cold, calculating, cruel, and tends to snub her fellow Ssu-Ling. She attacks with very little provocation and is quick to defend. Unfortunately, she's the least predictable of the five.

Family Ties

She has no idea who her family was, having grown up on the streets of an Ancient Chinese city with a group of other kids like her. If she hadn't discovered her identity as a sehashi it's entirely likely that she would have died young as was the fate of many other street kids.

Known Languages

Like all of the Ssu-Ling, he's fluent in several Chinese dialects, most notably Ancient Chinese. While she's learned English from her host body she generally can't be bothered to pick up other languages. She's learned a few alien words over time, though most of them are curse words.
