Xerenval

Basic Information

Anatomy

Most varieties of Xerenval have a horn of some kind on their heads. They have wings that are reminiscent of a butterfly’s. These warm blooded quadrupeds have a short coat of fur all over their bodies. They have a long thick tail. Their eyes are positioned on the sides of their heads. Their legs have paws at the end. These paws have short, retractable claws that are used for self defense and grooming.

Dietary Needs and Habits

While their mouths and bodies are designed for a herbivorous diet they're quite curious and will try to eat anything they can fit in their mouths, especially if they see their owners eating it.

Generally shy and skittish in the wild, many varieties of this species are easily domesticated and are even kept as pets.

These creatures are smart enough to be trained but aren't fully sentient.
