Personal history
Mali was born on Shandilar. She spent most of her life moving around the nearby systems with her parents. When she turned 13, they moved back to Shandilar where they lived for less than a year. Her younger brother was born, which meant that they had to find a bigger place. They moved to Veris Prime where her mother got a job teaching and her father worked as a park warden. His experience working on the wildlife reserves came in very handy despite the difference in animal species and climate. While they lived there, she met Kilani , who was there on a school trip.
Shortly after her 14th birthday, she was invited to attend the Shining Light Academy. To her dismay and happiness, Kilani was also enrolled there. They went through their training and discovered that they were both sehashi. For some reason their sehashi identities dismayed their instructors. They were given a guardian named Astarte to watch over them and help them through their early years.
Her family moved to Gehenna City when Mali was 19. She’d expressed an interest in going to the university there, so her parents made the arrangements. Her mother now taught classes at an elementary school and was nearly always there. When she’s home, she’s pretty clueless as to what Mali does and believes Huang to be a good friend who just happens to be there a lot. Her father continued working in his field, going on trips around Gehenna, working with wildlife parks all over the country.
Intellectual Characteristics
Mali is not an overly nice person. She’s very snobbish and doesn’t like to associate with those she considers lower than herself, which is practically everyone she’s ever met.
She has been a sehashi for longer than the other Stellaric sehashi. She’s worked with Altair for a few years, but she doesn’t really get along very well with her.

Food: yogurt and jelly doughnuts (Yogurt has a funny taste and jelly doughnuts just leak and get all over her clothes and hands)
