Personal history
Silas was born to the name of Mircea in a nation far from Starfell. When he reached 12, his fangs grew in, and his parents realised they were raising a vampire. They kept him hidden in the house, only taking him on short walks. Vampire hunters soon realised that Silas was a vampire, and began stalking the area around his parents house on Sunday, the hunting day in their nation. His parents became even more strict about when he could go outside.
Silas' parents died when he was 19 due to illness. Although he was devastated, he enjoyed he newfound freedom. He began to travel around his nation, camping in the forests at night. He found a job in several small time acting troupes, but would always mysteriously disappear when the play was finished. Eventually, after one of his employers found out he was a vampire, he was disgraced, and nearly caught and culled by the local vampire hunters. He decided to take his ambitions to a different location, and chose Starfell. Silas knew it was the best city for entertainment and theatre, but it was also dangerous, as vampires were much more scrutinised, and vampire hunters would hunt every day of the week. He left his home nation anyway, believing his dreams to be worth his safety.
When he arrived in Starfell, he changed his name to Silas, feeling it to be a better suited name for an actor, as well as marking the new era of his life and making it harder for his history to be traced, though he kept Mircea as a middle name to honour the wishes of his late parents. After months of searching, he found an acting troupe of mostly vampires that secretly worshipped the demons Kurisichul and Lariniam and their lesser demons. He joined immediately, also becoming a worshipper of Kurisichul. The troupe had been marked as suspicious by the Church of the Lightbearer for their dark plays and unusual clothing, and so Silas became a marked individual, often tailed by Holy Vampire Hunters. Silas did not mind this, however, believing that the risk made his life more interesting.
Don't worry about me.. if anything I enjoy it- it's like a real life play!After the reform of the Order of the Nisurach Circle, the troupe became an ally to them, often hiding members backstage or in the storage rooms below the theatre, and sometimes allowing the Order to host rituals in the theatre at night. The troupe began to host more religious focused productions, subliminally trying to spread the order's words. This caused even more scrutiny from the Hunters, especially on Silas, who often played a demon in these productions, specifically Kurisichul.
