Pick of Vasdal

The Pick of Vasdal is a one handed weapon, a hilt and shaft connected to a large cradle, within which rests a large ball of ice. While inert, the weapon somewhat resembles a morning star.
When swung, the rock of ice shifts its shape, protruding a jagged spike of ice in the direction of the swing. As such, when in use the weapon acts as more of a pick than any kind of mace.
