King Vanneak

King of Voswiadul, ruling from Giniseve from 1874 EC to ~1922 EC (the exact date of his death is unknown).
King Vanneak is famous for refusing to leave his city when it was officially evacuated, instead giving his place aboard the Minotaur guided evacuation boat to his servants who had remained to maintain the castle during the Blink. It is believed that he lived by himself in Castle Giniseve right up until the point that the city vanished to re-appear inland on the island. The ruins of Castle Giniseve still stand in Old Giniseve, but what happened to King Vanneak is unknown.
There is a monument built in his honour in North Old Town.
