General Summary
ON the way to the Circle of Decay’s encampment the Neb and Nemo discussed visiting the Feywild to confront the hag who cursed Nemo. The rest of the group agreed to visit the Feywild when the had opportunity to.
When reaching the camp Xyndrith was convinced to allow a fight in the War House between Papa Basherang and RockFreeze - We are The Water’s Rock Golem guardian. RockFreeze pulled off a shocking victory. STU13 gambled on RockFreeze winning and won a decent sum of money.
The meeting between the Circle of Decay and We Are The Water was then arranged for the following day. In the Deadened Senses Xyndrith approached Aria and confided in her that The Circle were set on voting that the Water allow a trench to be built which would extend the influence of the entity to the Circle of Decay camp which would ward off Pally Wal. Xyndrith was having second thoughts about this plan and knew Omberon would not be happy with it however he was being undermined by fellow council member Baldwin. He asked for Aria’s help.
Neb, Nemo and STU13 concocted a plan to kidnap Baldwin by posing as Lagoran, another member of the council. It went bizzarely but technically they did end up binding and gagging so mission failed successfully.
Meanwhile Aria, Thralisk and Mr Zunn went to speak to Omberon and Retrina about the council’s plan. Retrina wasn’t there but Omberon was dead against extending the influece of the enitity in the water, however he had an alernative plan of asking Grazynaxas, Destroyer of Plains - an ancient black dragon - for their help in defending the region. He also advised that Pally Wal would likely attack the border between Planisum and Casmith where a gateway to the Feywild lies.
Aria, Thralisk and Mr Zunn all agreed this may be a better plan and would try to convince the council to follow it.
The three then went to brief Xyndrith on the situation - when they entered Xyndrith’s tent they found him tied up while Rentira held a crossbow to his head - the group attempted to divert the shot but wass not successful and unfortunately Xyndrith was shot in the head.
