08 - Electric Bellshoon

General Summary

The The Kren'Sar fled Ivamis, with Alavara Evendew and Molinth Ketrinn as passengers, and one prisoner - an elven city guard from Ivamis named Hilore.   The crew made some sleeping arrangements - Alavara and Sindril Helviarn moved to the captain's cabin for the night, and Molinth took Judge's room. Before resting, Judge spoke with Sindril and discussed returning to Askursund. Sindril told Judge about her deity Kiaransalee ( https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Kiaransalee ).   As Alavara had warned, the crew suffered severe nightmares while sleeping in proximity to her.   Watcher had a vision from his past, marching through the desert leading a squad of four other Warforged soldiers.   Mitch dreamed that the Kren'Sar had crashed in the desert. A white and black striped tabaxi was pinned beneath it and asked for help. Mitch tried to lift the ship, breaking their wrists in the process. As the dream ended, the tabaxi called for help one last time.   In Judge's dream, he woke in his cabin aboard the Kren'Sar. It was raining outside.   Thunder roared in the distance once.   Up on the deck he found a drow with silver jewelry and long, pointed white nails, and a teifling stabbing a man with a dagger. The man was Romain Algernon.   Thunder roared a second time.   The Tiefling began to change form, and now looked like a gaunt man with several bruises and cuts across his body. The drow and the man walked across the deck together to a snake, and killed it.   Thunder roared a third time, Doombringer's call.   Erchyll dreamt of fleeing through the desert, pursued by tribal drums. However, the dream was interrupted by the three figures in red cloaks. They asked him for a favour - to kill Molinth before he reaches Lirimidium.
The next day the Kren'Sar continued its journey before being attacked by another airship.   The battle was quick and decisive, with the Kren'Sar suffering only minor damage. During the chaos, Erchyll tried to push Molinth over deck, but failed. Luckily, no one suspected any foul play on Erchyll's part.   Mitch definitely killed the other ship's captain.   Before being destroyed, the enemy ship vanished in arcane black smoke.     After another night of restless sleep, the Kren'Sar arrived at Lirimidium.   The crew released Hilore who ran off in to the bustling crowds.   Alavara bid her farewell and walked away in to the the sea of people.   Mitch posted an advertisement for a cook on the post.   Reporting back to The Custodian, the crew were paid and told that there might be more work for them in a few days. Molinth remained with the Custodian to discuss what they would be working on.   Watcher returned to the observatory and did some research.   Mitch visited an art gallery to try and sell Alavara's paintings. The owner of the gallery, a handsome human with blonde hair, seemed surprised to see her. He soon recovered his composure however, and was happy to buy the paintings.   Judge and Pitho visited the The Ashen Lady and did some shots of Tezcan rum. Pitho performed a song but it didn't attract much of a crowd.   Erchyll wandered the streets and didn't notice anything strange going on anywhere or nothin.   In the evening Watcher used the observatory telescope to look at the strange star in the sky. Watcher felt compelled to try and ensure the objects arrival in Tezca, also realising that the object in the sky was remarkably similar to the orb clutched in the hand of the statue outside the Custodian's office.   Watcher visited the Custodian. Watcher remarked that one of his usual guards was missing and the Custodian told Watcher that Gebril Morsk had gone missing.   The Custodian said that he intended to use Forgotten Crystals to perform a variation of the ritual described in Chittering Elva's Bound Tome to open the orb in Lirimidium. He seemed rather fanatical about the idea.
