The Free Axes

The Free Axes is a small, but powerful mercenary group in the Kingdom of Is, with only 49 members. They are known to for being very discreet, and not too expensiver The group is led by a former knight of Is, Kontan Elfwind. Other commonly known members are the four directly under Kontan; Favian Serpentwind, Ariana Montagu, Yarri Shadegrove, and Kent Fourswallow.

Structure

The Free Axes has one leader, Kontas Elfwind. Kontas has his own personal group of the four most elite members of the organization, among those four are the archwizard and the head cleric. Below them are 11 other captains, who all lead a squad of three members.

Public Agenda

The Free Axes has a small vote when it comes to political matters, but they generally only use their vote when it comes to war, because they want the country to be at war as much as possible, so they can get more work.

Notable Members

• Kontas Elfwind is the leader of The Free Axes. He is a very skilled warrior, and he also comes from a very powerful sorcerer bloodline. He is known for being a very kind man towards everyone. However, he kills enemies without hesitation.
• Favian Serpentwind is the organization's archdruid. He is a rather old half-orc who is known for acting on impulse and being very direct.
• Ariana Montagu is group's head knight. She is a human woman, pretty young for her position. She is known for being very hard to talk to, and often barks orders at others, even people who aren't part of her organization.
• Yarri Shadegrove is the group's archwizard. She is a gnome who is known for being kind and empathetic, always helping the commonfolk for very little compensation when not working. Some rumors say she has regular contact with demons.
• Kent Fourswallow is the group's head cleric. He is a dwarf and is mainly known for being a former member of the Church of the Meek.
