Clerics of Namaris are bestowed powers of the life domain, while Paladins that swear an oath to follow Namaris' tenets become devotion paladins.
Holy Books & Codes
Namaris' Codex of Life is the holy book the majority of Namaris' worshippers follow. It was written over 3000 years ago by an elven priest. The priest's name has been forgotten through the ages, but the followers believe they became an angel who is still living by Namaris' side. This holy book is recognized as the divine word of Namaris, and no other generally known books exist.

Tenets of Faith
To gain the favor of Namaris, his followers must help anyone in danger, and they must appreciate all life. They may never take another life, except for the direct purpose of their own or other humanoids' survival. However, they may never take the life of another sentient being under any circumstances.
Holidays
Namaris has one holiday. The first day of the year, his followers celebrate the creation of life. This day, people are to take the day off from work if possible. People normally celebrate this day by throwing a feast, but without eating any meat.
