The Diverged Timeline

Jaster Mereel avoids an assassination and coup attempt lead by his second in command Montross. In response the True Mandalorians, Haat Mando'ade, internally restructure to root out all spies and traitors. Many Death Watch, Kyr'tsad, members are discovered and executed, but evidence points to another faction outside of Mandalore pulling strings. When following evidence of this mysterious faction leads to a dead end, the Haat Mando'ade pause their hunt and turn their attention to ridding the Mandalorian Sector of all trace of Kyr'tsad.   The mysterious faction is not forgotten.

Haat Mando'ade Leader and Mand'alor, Jaster Mereel kills Tor Vizla in 1 on 1 combat live on the HoloNet, claiming the Darksaber and making his claim as Mand'alor near impossible to dispute. With the alliance with the New Mandalorians standing strong and the rest of the Mandalorian warrior clans quickly swearing alliance, Mandalore stands united and strong under one ruler for the first time since Dral'Han almost 700 years ago.   In the wake of this victory Jaster Mereel and his Son Jango Fett receive bittersweet news. Arla Fett, Jango's older sister who had been believed dead, is discovered when cleaning up the last of the Kyr'tsad camps. She is half mad from torture and brain washing, but Jaster Mereel and Jango Fett are not ones for giving up on family. Arla Fett is officially adopted by Jaster Mereel and returns home.

With undeniable proof that the Sith have returned and that war is on the horizon the Jedi Order under goes internal reforms.

• The maximum age to be taken as a Padawan is indefinitely suspended. The Jedi Service corps security and numbers are closely watched after examination reveals a small amount of initiates have been vanishing shortly after being sent to the corps for some time. Corps Missions to more dangerous sectors are now accompanied by several Knights and Republic and Local Security when possible.
• Outside of Shadows and rare exceptions, Jedi are no longer sent on solo mission. A minimum of two Jedi are required and junior Padawans do not count towards the mission count. 3 to 4 Jedi is preferred. Many Masters team up for their training of Padawans.
• The art of Battle Meditation is reintroduced to the order. First to Masters, then Knights, and finally to Senior Padawans on recommendation. Surprisingly or perhaps not, younger Knights and Padawans take to it faster.
• Makashi and Soresu classes become more heavily emphasized and Battle Master regularly train Knights and Masters how to combat Juyo.
