Second Je'daii Memory

The same human as before, wearing armored grey robes and a Force sword, stands nest to a small green alien with pointed ears (A species familiar to anyone who took classes from Master Oteg, though the species name is not known). They are facing a large six-tentacled cephalopod with sad eyes. As the cephalapodd speaks in a low almost subharmonic drone, the protocol droid next to it attempts to translate.   Ketu sighs, rubbing his eyes. He looks frustrated. "Let's try this again, I'm starting to understand, Bogan save me."   The droid begins to speak without waiting for the cephalapod to reply. "We have failed to provide a red vertex. This is tinted green obtuse. We have great need for a black bisector."   Ketu: Right, I understand you need our help. but we don't understand what went wrong, and we don't know why the Gree need help from us. Your technology is centuries ahead of ours.   The Gree speaks for a long moment and then the droid translates. "Grandmaster Ophenrate says the time for Silver Convex has passed. He has failed in his final attempt to pass the trial and the Gree will no longer be Golden Nonagon. You are aware of the Octarine Unity, you call them Celestials. Grandmaster Ophenrate sought to achieve the grand trial by creating the Stellar Sphere. It was meant to repair the Octarine distortion, but he has failed, and it has become a burning triangle. That is why we require the sharpest of black bisectors. Your order's tendency to pale nonagon allows you to extend into severe yellow concave while remaining sharpened. We offer to teach Gold Equilateral if you will assist in dealing with the burning triangle."   The small green Je'daii nods. "Very well Grandmaster. A Bargain we have."   As they walk away ffrom the Gree and the droid, Ketu asks "What exactly have we agreed to Tokare? I understand they have a crisis involving the force, but I'm still missing something."   "Much will become clear in it's due time. But familiar I am with the celestial distortion. One of two great mistakes of the ancients it is, and unleashed it, the gree have in their arrogance."   Ketu frowns, "If that's the case, shouldn't we have negotiated harder... Fighting a Celestial entity... I'm not certain their offer of payment means much compared to that."   "Irrrelevant, that is." Tokare answers. "Dying is the Gree empire, Last of the researchers he is. Entrust us with much he will to make amends."
