Using NPCs as Projectiles

  Using an NPC as a projectile will cause 1 Conflict. An additional 1 conflict will be generated if the target of the NPC projectile is another NPC. Minion groups count as 1 target.  

Minion Groups and Move

  The current size of a minion group determines it's silhouette.  
  • Group Size 1-2: Silhouette + 0
  • Group Size 3-5: Silhouette + 1
  • Group Size 6+: Silhouette + 2    

    Disarming Minion Groups

      Disarming a group of minions works differently than disarming other NPCs. Each disarmed minion in the group is moved into a subgroup (for initiative purposes). They may either use a maneuver to equip a side arm, or go to grab their weapons at short range (2 maneuvers: 1 to move, 1 to pick up).   If the force user has range upgrades then any excess range upgrades may be spent to send the weapons 1 extra range band per excess range upgrades - 1.  

    Examples   A Force user has 2 upgrades of range on their Move Power and disarms a minion group at short range (the default range). They have 2 excess range bands so they can send the weapons out to medium range (2 excess range bands - 1 = 1 range band past short) from the minion group.   A Force user has 2 upgrades of range on their Move Power and disarms a minion group at medium range (requires 1 Range upgrade). They have 1 excess range bands so they can only send the weapons out to short range (1 excess range band - 1 = 0 range band past short) from the minion group.

    The conflict is both a balancing mechanic and fits with how other force powers that cause injury work.
