Echani Unarmed Training
Prerequisites: Constitution & Dexterity 13**, Martial Arts I**, & Advanced Combat Maneuvers**
- Benefit: You may add your Constitution Modifier to Unarmed Damage rolls. As a Move Action, when making an Unarmed Attack, you may make a Combat Maneuver in addition to your normal attack (if it is successful).
Special Note: If you roll a critical hit while making an Unarmed Attack, you may choose to deal a Devastating Critical Injury to your target instead of Critical Damage. If you already have the Devastating Criticals feat you gain a +10 to your roll.
Improved Echani Unarmed Training (Flurry of Blows)
Prerequisites: Dexterity 13**, Martial Arts II**, & Advanced Combat Maneuvers**
- Benefit: Once per Encounter, as a Move Action, you may make an additional number of Unarmed Attacks/Combat Maneuvers equal to your Dexterity Modifier; if you've already attacked this turn. ex. If you're a level 6 character who can make two attacks during their Standard Action. With Improved Echani Unarmed Training, you may spend your Move Action to make additional attacks equal to your Dexterity Modifier.
Special Note: If you roll a critical hit while making an Unarmed Attack, you may choose to deal a Devastating Critical Injury to your target instead of Critical Damage. If you already have the Devastating Criticals feat you gain a +20 to your roll.
Master Echani Unarmed Training (Stunning Blow)
Prerequisites: Dexterity 13**, Martial Arts III**, & Advanced Combat Maneuvers**
- Benefit: Once per Encounter, after an Unarmed Attack that deals damage over your target's Threshold, as a Reaction, you may inflict one of the following Special Conditions on them instead of moving them down the Condition Track.
- Antagonize: An antagonized creature can only target its antagonist (the one who caused the antagonized state) with hostile\* actions. Furthermore, an antagonized creature does not threaten any opponents except their antagonist: they cannot make attacks of opportunity or be used to determine flanking bonuses against other opponents.
- Nauseate: Creatures with the nauseated condition experience stomach distress. Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, make Reactions, Use the Force, concentrate on using the Force, or do anything else requiring attention. The actions a nauseated creature can take are Move & Swift actions.
- Prone: A creature lying on the ground is considered Prone. A prone attacker has a -5 penalty with Disadvantage on melee attack rolls and a +5 bonus with Advantage on ranged weapon attack rolls. A prone defender gains a +5 bonus to General Defense against ranged attacks and inflicts Disadvantage on the ranged attacks; but takes a -5 Penalty to their Reflex Defense, and grants Advantage to melee attackers. Standing up from Prone takes half of a creature's movement and provokes an attack of opportunity.
- Shaken: A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on all special defenses, and Disadvantage on all Rolls. Shaken is the least severe level of fear.
- Stagger: A staggered creature may take a single move action or standard action each round (but not both, nor can they take full-round actions). A staggered creature can still take free & swift actions and reactions.
Special Note: If you roll a critical hit while making an Unarmed Attack, you may choose to deal a Devastating Critical Injury to your target instead of Critical Damage. If you already have the Devastating Criticals feat you gain a +30 to your roll.
Perfect Echani Unarmed Training (Counter Blow)
Prerequisites: Dexterity 13**, Martial Arts IV**, Advanced Combat Maneuvers**, & Commando Training.
- Benefit: All Echani Unarmed Techniques are reduced from Once per Encounter to Once per Round. After a successful Attack of Opportunity, as a Reaction, you may use an Echani Unarmed Technique against your target.
Special Note: If you roll a critical hit while making an Unarmed Attack, you may choose to deal a Devastating Critical Injury to your target instead of Critical Damage. If you already have the Devastating Criticals feat you gain a +40 to your roll.
**Prerequisites can be bypassed with an Echani background.**
