Creature Limb Conditions

A Creature's limbs may be the target of direct damage due to a Devastating Injury, Limb Attack, a catastrophic failure during a Skill Challenge, or a variety of other consequences. When a limb receives damage that is above the creature's Damage Threshold the creature's targeted limb moves 1 step down its Condition. The Conditions for a limb are listed below.

Normal

Normal.

Injured

Move -1 on the condition track when this condition is inflicted. An injured limb imposes a -5 on all checks involving the limb.

Fractured

Move -2 on the Condition Track when this condition is inflicted. A fractured limb imposes a -5 on all checks involving the limb, and the checks are rolled with Disadvantage.

Broken

Move -3 on the Condition Track when this condition is inflicted. A broken limb imposes a -5 on all checks involving the limb, and the checks are rolled with Disadvantage. Regardless of the outcome of the check, any use of the limb causes you to move -1 on the Condition Track.

Shattered

Move -4 on the Condition Track when this condition is inflicted. A shattered limb imposes a -10 all checks, and all checks are rolled with Disadvantage. Checks involving the shattered limb are rolled with Double Disadvantage. The character also suffers a Persistent -1 on the Conditition Track and any use of the limb causes the character to move -1 on the Condition Track. If this condition isn't healed in 24 hours the character loses the limb.

Mangled

Move -5 on the Condition Track when this condition is inflicted. A mangled limb imposes a -15 on all checks, and all checks are rolled with Disadvantage. Checks involving the mangled limb automatically fail. The character also suffers a Persistent -2 on the Conditition Track and any use of the limb causes the character to move -2 on the Condition Track. If this condition isn't healed in 12 hours the character loses the limb.

Severed

Move -6 on the Condition Track when this condition is inflicted. A severed limb imposes a -20 on all checks, and all checks are rolled with Disadvantage. Checks that would invole the mangled limb automatically fail. The character also suffers a Persistent -3 on the Condition Track and all actions cause the character to move -1 on the Condition Track.
