Cracked -Armor Condition-

Armor that has taken damage in excess of half its total hit points is Cracked. The cracked condition halves the bonuses granted to all Defenses and Vitals rounding down. Cracked armor doubles its armor check penalty on skills. Armor with the cracked condition, regardless of type, are worth 50% of its normal value. Armor loses the cracked condition if it regains at least half of its original hit points or higher. Generally speaking, this requires a DC 20 Mechanics check and 2 hours of work to be completely repaired, the time is reduced by 10 minutes, for each multiple of 2 the DC is beat by. Most mechanics charge one-fifth of the item’s total cost to repair such damage.
