Luna is a compassionate WA-7 service type droid who served as a groundskeeper to Vice Admiral Lagris Eldbor’s estate and vineyard. Largris was diagnosed with terminal brainrot plague and was sent to the Reles' Hospital for intensive care. While hospitalized he befriended a Mon Calamari named Hilki Mubb who was being treated for a traumatic brain injury. As it became clear Lagris' illness was terminal, he gifted the estate and Luna to Hilki who rebranded it as Chateau Mubb.
It is said that Hilki Mubb soon fell madly in love with Luna and the two of them handle the Chateau’s operations together.
Here is an excerpt of what many Holo-Net fic writers believe happened during their first meeting:
Hilki made his way to the gates of the address Langris had given him. Before him lay a field of vines. The conditions were not ideal. Years of neglect had left the plants withered and decayed. Hilki made his way down the cobblestone path to a rustic looking house. He fished out of his pocket the key that Langris had given him and opened the door. He was greeted by a pair of incandescent eyes.
“Hi there, do you know where my master is? I haven’t seen him in weeks?”
Hilki began to tell Luna of the events that had unfolded at the hospital. Luna was devastated but somehow knew that Hilki would make everything alright.
