Unrealized Lightsaber

A basic form of a lightsaber that has yet to reach it's full potential. While the construction is mechanically sound the saber's crystal core has not yet been fully awakened to the force resulting in a blade that does not yet have the cutting potential of a standard lightsaber. These saber only visual difference is a thinner and generally white blade.                                                                                                                                                                                        
Normally used by students of the force who have not yet undergone a full trial or those who have not opened themselves fully to the force yet, these sabers are still deadly weapons. It has been said undergoing a trial or a change of heart while wielding such a weapon can open the saber to it's true potential.
