The Light of Vol

Vol is the deity the Stenax believe in and worship. He is the being that gives the sun light and brings light to the stars. Vol is considered to be a champion of life and light and is credited for the Stenax's gift of flight.
The Stenax have strong religious beliefs and would be willing to do anything if they thought it was the will of Vol. A common farewell statement is "May the Light of Vol guide you"
The Stenax built a statue to Vol atop a Spire on their homeworld, this statue was not simply a representation of Vol but the embodiment of him. While the statue stood each Sentax knew he was watching over them through the statue.
When the statue was lost during the seismic event the Sentax call "The Great Cataclysm", it brought great shame upon the Sentax as they not only failed to build a statue worthy of their god but they lost their god in the process as the statue has disappeared since the earthquakes.
