Tandarkin Station

Tandarkin Station is a hub of transport and trade at the conjunction of hyperspace lanes in the sector.
The station was constructed by the Tandarkins, a seclusive industrial people obsessed with their newly constructed monument on their home world: The Tandarkin Monument.  The Tandarkins do not like outsiders on their planet so rather than open their borders they set up this outpost instead to deal with outside world.
The Tandarkins have a reputation for resisting the Empire and shown their distaste of the Empire at every turn. So far no armed conlifct has broken out between the Empire and Tandarkins and the Empire has allowed the Tandarkin Station to continue to operate so far. 
The space station stands as a refuge for those who wish to operate outside the Empire's control. The space station has become a hotspot in the Spadja sector for trade and transport with many species from all around the sector taking up shops or residence there.
