When played it seems to have an affect on all species in short range driving them mad and urging them to commit self-slaughter.

Do a Discipline vs Discipline check to all humanoids in close range. Failing the checks causes the any affected species to attempt to harm or kill themselves for 3 rounds.
Failing the check: Injure self Failing the check + 1 additional fail: attempt to kill self.
