Arcopola and Gambolla

Arcopola and Gambolla are two temperate planets in the Spadja system controlled by the Republic of Musicorum. Although these planet are part of the same government and people, they have developed a rivalry.
Arcopola is a world of technology and innovation where new products are always being showcased. The planet is known for it's expansive and exemplary shipyard, as well as it's ship components. Ships often come here for upgrades or repairs. Despite Arcopola's reputation as a leader in the tech industry it is often overshadowed by it's counterpart Gambolla.
Gambolla is the first planet of the this Republic and makes the bulk of the income for the two worlds. It's primary export: Music. Being a world focused on the arts many enjoy to visit Gambolla in search for artistic inspiration. It is a world of art and creativity, it's main focus however remains music. Over the years Gambolla has proven itself time and time again by producing the top musicians of the region. Gambolla generates it's income by licensing musical creations of it's inhabitants whose profits are split between the individual and the planet's government which in turn provides them free education in the arts.
Although Arcopola's has found itself a footnote in the news as of late due to the continual musical successes of Gambolla, leading Gambolla to be the primary breadwinner of the two Planets.
Now the planets are in the midst of an election, an election that may determine the worlds new National Music genre. For decades Jizz has been the national Music Genre but this election some of the candidates feel it's time for a change and that change should begin with musical tastes. Some argue they must change their musical ways to stay relevant in the galaxy, others feel they should stick with what they're known for: Jizz.
Gambolla now prepares for it's customary music festival where each candidate's musical genre will be performed by talented artists in an effort to win over popular support. It is often the case where the winner of the Music Festival often takes the Election.
