Chapter 4 Report

General Summary

The heroes returned to Coruscant with their young passengers in tow. Aboard the ship, there was what one would describe as chaos. Some children had wandered into Aidan's private chambers. There, they searched through his things for something that could stave off the boredom of sitting on a ship with nothing to do. They found a Holocron and were mesmerized by the way it glowed. They could hear it whisper to them, but they could not make out what it said. Once child snatched it from the hands of the other and an argument ensued. A third child tried to grab it from them to stop the fighting and suddenly, the Holocron went up in the air. Just as Aidan entered his room, he saw it crash to the ground and crack. He was struck with a sudden headache as his connection to Holocron through the force was partially severed. This Holocron has taught him something, but for reasons he cannot explain, it is lost on him what it was. Aidan lost his memories of how to use the Soresu lightsaber form. Meanwhile, Anesidora attempted to teach the children how to use the force in ways far better than those forced upon them in the laboratory on Dromund Kaas. While her attempts were noble the children were far too unruly for her to handle. Upset by the damage done to his Holocron, Aidan also attempted to help her with the children. However, they were not convinced and simply chose to do as they pleased. Only ninety more hours to go to reach Coruscant... While there was chaos with Aidan and Anesidora, it was peaceful on Tychus' ship. It was something he made sure to take full appreciation of. His only passenger was the village elder's daughter; who joined them on this journey to ensure that the children were brought back to their parents on Dromund Kass once they were evaluated and treated by the Jedi Council. Tychus showed an interest in the Village Elder's daughter. Who knows what will happen when they reach Coruscant? When everyone does make it to Coruscant things become hectic. The ship with children gets direct access to the Jedi Temple through their exclusive landing pads. A team from the Medical Corps is already there and waiting to greet them. Kael speaks with someone to ask about the ancient medical kits he found and if he could donate them for research. They accept the donation gladly and invite him to participate in their studies of the kits. Kael learns special surgery techniques which allow him to operate twice as fast and double as much as he did before. He also received 1000 credits for his generous donation. Meanwhile, Aidan and Anesidora help facilitate getting the children off their ship and into the hands of the medical corp until they are approached by a jedi knight. He bears a message; both of them are to be seen by the Jedi Council immediately. When they arrived to the meeting chamber the padawans met with the council one at a time. First, was Aidan. He was debriefed on the mission, the council mentioned that they were impressed with the way he conducted himself on Dromund Kaas. The trial of wills, which was the test he was required to complete while on his mission was sucessful. Aidan was now a Jedi Knight, and can now use the bonus Jedi Knight feat he received at level 7. Afterward, Anesidora was called in. The Jedi Council said that while her performance on Dromund Kaas was stellar, she did not pass the trial of the flesh. She questioned why she had failed, and the council explained that the trial of flesh involves, pain, hardship and loss. None of these things were things he experienced on Dromund Kass. The council felt that since this test is one of the most difficult tests a padawan faces on their journey to becoming a knight, that she would be given one last chance. She was asked to enter a testing chamber. In the chamber she began to meditate and was presented with a vision; "As you sit in the testing chamber and meditate, you become aware of a distant sound. You can’t quite make out what the sound is, but as you concentrate on it, you become dizzy. Your sense of up and down becomes distorted and you feel like the room begins to spin. It spins faster, and faster until with a huge crash you feel your body pressed flat on the floor. When you try to take a breath in you can’t. A heavy weight presses down upon you and you cannot expand your chest enough to let air in. When you open your eyes, you realize that you are no longer inside the testing chamber. You are laying on the ground in a huge battle, trapped beneath rubble that fell from the ceiling. You look around, trying to find a way to escape, when you see Aidan standing in front of the rubble, defending both himself and you from blaster fire. He draws his attention briefly to you while the blaster fire temporarily ceases and reaches out with his hand. Using the force, he starts to lift the rubble off your crushed body. You gasp for air, feeling your own strength return slowly. You begin to pull yourself out from underneath the rocks when they fall upon you again. You look over to Aidan and see a blue light and grey smoke poke out through his chest. He falls, as he was struck by the lightsaber. You try to pull your legs out from beneath the rubble but, you are pinned. There is nothing you can do to help him. Time passes as you remained pinned beneath the broken pieces of stone. How long has passed, you have no idea. Time feels as though it has been frozen for you. Finally, a blast further away sends vibrations through the whole building. It causes the rubble pinning your legs down to shift enough for you to get free. You crawl to Aidan, and can see his eyes wide open, his face locked in an expression of sadness. The light has long since been gone from his eyes and attempted any type of healing techniques would be fruitless. What do you do?" Anesidora's reaction, as this vision was so real was convince she was seeing the death of her closest friend, (Skriver Anesidora's svar her senere). Suddenly, she experiences a feeling that surrounds her. It was not like anything she has felt since she entered the testing chamber. It was a feeling of understanding. While Aidan was a good friend, he, like Anesidora, was a part of the Force. He had become one with the force and she felt joy for this fact. He will always be with her now. Anesidora is strengthened by this knowledge and rises to her feet. The battle around her suddenly stopped and an eerie silence surrounded her. Despite this, she knew where she needed to go. As she left the area she became blinded by a bright light. When her eyes adjusted she realized that she exited the testing chamber of her own accord. "Congratulations must we give you," says Yoda. The Jedi council was waiting at the door to the testing chamber. "Gran you the rank of Jedi Knight, the council does." Anesidora was now a Jedi Knight and can now use the bonus Jedi Knight feat she received at level 7. In the meantime, Tychus has finally arrived to the Jedi Temple with his companion from the village on Dromund Kaas. A member of the medical corps escorted her away. To where, remains unknown to Tychus. He sought a meeting with the council. However, they were not available. He was told that his wait was expected to take a few hours and that there was a shopping center nearby. He would be contacted. While walking down the busy streets of one of many of Coruscant’s shopping streets a blaster is pressed against Tychus' back. By the feel of the gun, it was someone who knew how to kill someone quickly and quietly in a crowded street and walk away as if he had nothing to do with it. He looked over your shoulder and saw a face that put him a bit more at ease. The blaster remains pointed at him despite this. "This armor does not belong to you," says the mysterious Mandalorian in black. Tychus responds in Mando'a that he would never dishonor a clan and take armor from their rightful owner. The mysterious Mandalorian lowers his weapon. "Word is going around that you are looking for an armorsmith that knows the old ways with Beskar," says the mysterious warrior. "Because you are Mando'a, I will throw you a bone. A man named Odes Krilling knows the old ways. He is old and stubborn. If he thinks you are worthy, he will help you." "Where can I find him?" asks Tychus, his arms still up in the air in a 'don't shoot' gesture. "Nar Sharddaa," says the mysterious Mandalorian. "Good luck finding him," he says with a chuckle. He slowly backs out of the alley, his eyes still fixed on Tychus until he disappears into the crowd.
