Rebel Alliance/New Republic

Profile: Historically, while the Alliance isn’t able to operate openly with Nar Shaddaa as a base, that does not prevent them from making use of the seedy planet. The Smuggler’s Moon offers the perfect cover for otherwise law abiding citizens to visit “on business”, and the heavy underworld presence offers a unique opportunity to acquire materiel and recruits to fund the effort. While they might be hard to track down, if you have goods to sell, they have the credits.
In the last few months, as the Rebel Alliance has morphed into the New Republic, those stationed on Nar Shaddaa have become more open in their actions; however, the upheaval across the galaxy has only marginally changed the politics on Nar Shaddaa. Therefore, the New Republic do not yet feel that Nar Shaddaa is ready to join the Senate, and so maintain a relatively low-key bureau on the planet.
Primary Drives: Monitor changing politics on the planet, look for opportunities to act against remnants of Empire, seek opportunities to further requirements of New Republic.
