Imperial Security Bureau

Historically, this was the sister organization of Imperial Intelligence. The ISB was a covert secret police and intelligence force led by the Empire. Officially, Nar Shaddaa remains under Hutt control for its management but, before the end of the Galactic Civil War, the ISB still operated in the region in an unofficial capacity. While in theory responsible for enforcing law and order, their primary goal was rooting out dissent and Rebellion operatives. This ranged from surveillance, to secretly capturing rebel operatives, to assassinating targets deemed too dangerous to bring in.
Since the fall of the Empire, the ISB has continued to operate on Nar Shaddaa in a much more unofficial capacity. The Moff for the Hutt region is Moff Kegan, and he has maintained operational capability of the ISB here.
