Dr. Ekohta

An Ex-Sith Bio Researcher and surgeon, Dr. Ekohta deserted to The Republic after an unknown problem on Korriban forced him into self-imposed exile.

Description

A dignified man, Ekohta can always be seen standing in an upright and rigid posture - exuding an air of both expertise and arrogance. Donning a finely tailored lab coat, the man seems like he would be most at home in a lab conducting various experiments rather that interacting with his fellow man. Often grimacing during conversation, it is apparent that he does not view highly of those less knowledgeable than himself; an opinion that may have led to the cause of his flight from Korriban. An advanced bionic arm replaces his right arm, specially designed to contain various medical instruments which help him in his medical work. Impeccably pristine in his presentation, the few times you may find him soiled is when he is midway through an experiment of surgery.

Physical Enhancement (Arm): On the forefront of biotech research, Ekohta's are is one of the more advanced models of limb replacement. The internal components increase the base strength and mobility compared to the original arm.

History

Dr. Ekohta was first met by the Initiates during a relief supply run on Dantooine meant to supply an outlying refugee camp. In reality, this was part of an undercover operation to exfiltrate the doctor into Republic space. Hounded by Sith hunters, they chose to use Dantooine as a safe midpoint where the empire's authority was diminished. It was during this convoy escort that two republic privates chose to break their orders and reveal their secret cargo in order to save the lives of two wounded farmers who needed medical help. Using his medical expertise, he was able to save the wounded duo by keeping them alive until the camp was reached. It was here that he officially introduced himself to the Initiates. Thanking them for their assistance, he gifted one of the members with a small box containing several crystals. He was then ushered to a republic safehouse, and presumably is now on his way towards the Republic.
