The Nachtnebel family hotel and gallery

Beautiful structure carefuly crafted by the Nachtnabels in the XIXth century. An architectural wonder, a symphony of dark colours and pastels, wood and brick, ornamentalized with stained glass windows. Located close to the main building is an Oragerie, filled to the brim with exotic flowers and trees. It's truly an oasis of peace and truly a visual feast for anyone. Stay as long as you wish and enjoy life to the fullest.

Purpose / Function

Originally the mansion for the Nachtnebels and their guests, with time the family got smaller and smaller and then it was turned into a hotel by Lew's father, in an attempt to gather more funds to support the town council and citizens. Is known for it's hospitality, incredibly well informed staff and spa packs.

Alterations

The outside of the structure has not been interfered with, besides some minor renovations to keep the building from disintegrating. The interior however has been through many modifications and modernisation. Of more significant ones, plumbing and electricity has been added. A lot of new louge areas have been created and the hotel has gained more and more of a cozy quality to it as years went by.

Architecture

The architectural design has driven plenty of influences from gothic and victorian designs with art nouveau twists. The structure is three stories high from ground level up, with a basement. It seems that three stories is quite small for a hotel, but it has a yield of over 30 fully furnished rooms with varying price rangest to accomodate all travelers. The roof of the building is steep and has a three 'towers', two of which were incorporated into Exclusive rooms and one into an astrological observatory. The hotel is surrounded by a grand garden, led in a british style. Behind the hotel you can find a tiny pond with water lillies. Konrad says that during the summer you can sometimes see fireflies sitting on them, relaxing in the pleasant heat of a summer night...

Tourism

The locations is the only hotel in St. Lilienholz, so it's obvious that most tourists staying in the town will be accomodated there.
